new psu help

I think OP is concerned about the video card interfering with sata ports. Looking at the picture of that video card, the heatsink shroud doesn't go all the way to the bottom of the PCB. The fan plug at the right as shown on Asus's overview page for the card might interfere with one of the sata ports, but the others will be fine.

Also, for the psu, the number of amps available on the +12V rail is more important than total wattage, but the hx650 bronze provides 52 amps, and 42 is enough:

I have the CM Elite 431 plus and it sucks for cable mgmt, but has front USB 3.0. What is your problem?
 


It's normal, don't sweat it. Is it the 5V one? If your system works then you have nothing to worry about.
