new psu im so confused whats going on

my new psu. I have a foxconn 2A8C mobo and an intel due 2 e7500. When i plug in my mobo connectors from my cpu the 24 pin ones and turn my pc on the fans and gpu fan turn on but then when i plug in the 4 pin cpu my pc does not work anymore. I tried 10 times. Whats the problem?

Hi, I've had this problem too in a PSU and it turned out it was faulty so you would be best returning it for warranty.

i can't seem to find the proper motherboard picture on google as none of them seem to have a 4 pin connector.
maybe you could help me out?
also, what's the model of the psu?
