Hey guys,

Recently my xfx 650w died after 10 months of usage, I'm working on getting it refunded as they no longer make the model. Now however I need a new psu. My basic system specs are an i5 4460, an msi gtx 970 and a Gigabyte GA-H97M-HD3 motherboard.(I didn't need a 650w in the first place but for some reason it was cheaper than the 550w so I bought it). My budget is a comfortable £65 with maybe a little room for extra. I need atleast 500w and it must be modular, I have a micro-atx case and don't want clutter. My cpu power needs an 8pin connector and the gtx 970 needs a 6 pin and an 8 pin connector. Also the quieter the better. My preferred site is amazon uk.

Thank you

Lol ofcourse. Yes to both. Most power supplies on the market are ATX and come with 8-pin CPU power especially. No point in selling a power supply that doesn't have CPU power pins.

Is it? Not the best you can get for the price really. It's not a bit higher priced, It's two times as expensive pretty much.

Na most 650W cost between $70~90 plus its one of only 2 brands that output way more power than rated. You must be comparing it to a 500~550W. Its capable of output around 795W.

Although both of these power supply's are great and reliable the hiher priced one is out of my price range and the other is fully wired. My case has bad cable management and fully wired psu's clutter. Thanks
