Just replaced my old cheap PSU with a nice EVGA one.

Anyways, after installing my new PSU, everything ran great. I leave the computer on overnight, but the next morning it is dead, with my Asus motherboard showing the red cpu LED. I tried resetting the CMOS via jumping the pins and removing the battery with no luck. Even tried different CPUs with the same result.

I figured something about the PSU was the issue because it was the only change. Sure enough when I wired it up with my old PSU, everything worked fine.

99% sure my New PSU is not working correctly, even though it turns on and outputs the right voltages (tested with multimeter). Any input on this before I rush out and return it?

If you haven't yet, register the PSU on EVGA website. Submit customer service request, and they will ask you to do some troubleshooting steps, which you may have not tried yet. If nothing work, they will give you RMA number and you can ship it for warranty coverage, or you can just return it to the retailer if it is within return period. Go for the cheaper or more convenient route. Anyway, EVGA is known for its customer service.

I have already tried all the troubleshooting there is to do, and I am very aware of EVGAs great CS. Going to try to return it to the retailer, which might be problematic due to me cutting off the UPC for a rebate. It that doesn't work, will have no other choice then to submit an RMA.
