I recently made a post of this forum stating that I bought a new PSU, Corsair RM750, and I was having problems with it. I found once I installed the PSU, my PC powered up just fine, but I received no display on my monitor.

I finally managed to get a display, but now the PC regularly freezes and I have to hard reset with the power button on the case. And so I came to the conclusion I was probably getting a display the whole time, the PC was just freezing up. I had zero problems with my old PSU before buying this new one, hence why I am certain the problem must be the new PSU.

My question is can a PSU cause freezing? Is it possible that due to this new PSU being a lot higher wattage than I need that it's damaging my other hardware? If anyone knows what is going on I'd be really appreciative!
