Hey guys, so yesterday my PSU blew out (Cooler Master Thunder 700W), and i'm looking for a new one, was hoping I could get some recommendations.

My setup:
CPU: AMD FX X8 8320 4Ghz (+ Be Quiet! Pure Rock cooler)
Motherboard: AMD 970/SB950 SAM3+ ATX/GA-970A-UD3P GIGABYTE
HDD: Western Digital Black 2TB SATA3 7200rpm 64Mb
SSD: Kingston V300 120GB SATA3, 450/450MBs, IOPS 85/55k, 7mm
RAM: DDR3 Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz
Case: Carbide Series® SPEC-01 Red LED Mid-Tower Gaming Case
GPU: SAPPHIRE TRI-X R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 OC (UEFI)

Considering: CHIEFTEC ATX 2.3 A-90 750W and COOLER MASTER MasterWatt 750 Modular
I understand 750W might seem a bit much. However, I would rather have a bit more just in case than not have enough 😀
If you have some insights on the two, or have better options, please help me out :)

You will be fine on a good 550w psu. More probelems will arise from choosing crappy/low end units with more watts rather than a quality power supply than can still support your build.

Look for a Bitfenix Whisper, Evga G3, be Quiet straight power 11, Seasonic Focus Plus, Corsair RMX 550w.

That Chieftec is crap. The cooler master is eh, good but not amazing. Go for something like a Corsair CX550M or a Seasonic M12II / S12II if you are on a budget. If you can spend a little more, then look for something like a Seasonic Focus Plus, Corsair TXM/RMX, EVGA G2/G3 and be quiet straight power 11. Personally, I would go for the Seasonic. They are so reliable you wont have to switch for a while.
