Hi Everyone,

I am thinking about replacing my current PSU as the cables are getting on my nerves big time. I was also thinking about a Modular PSU so at least the cables I am using are the only ones in the case and not hanging out.

My current Case is pretty rubbish cheap but it can hold the Corsair GS 800 Watt.

I need a good value 1000Watt Modular PSU to keep up with the high Wattage being used in my computer but it also needs to fit.

Does the PSU increase in size as the wattage goes up? IE Will a 1000Watt PSU fit in my case?

Any recommendations on a good 1000watt Modular PSU which will power:

CPU: AMD Fx 8350
GPU: MSI Twin Forser 3 Ati HD 7970 OC (Will be buying it soon)
Memory: 8GB DDR3
1x DVD x`16 drive
1x 300GB Sata HDD.
Motherboard: Asrock pro 3 (Old version not R2)

Thanks for reading,

Best regards,

Madne$$

It's a very standard size: 5.9" x 6.7" x 3.4". I'm sure it will fit your case, unless your case especially small or something.
