Installed a Powercooler X-Viper 750w 80+ Bronze PSU to find that it will just flicker on (LEDs and fans will boot up for a second) before switching off. Will have to switch the mains switch off and on before trying again.

I re-installed my previous PSU and it boots the same as before tinkering(perfectly fine).

Google "psu paperclip test" and test it out to make sure that ur PSU is not faulty.

If it's working fine then I suspect it's the MOBO problem since 750W PSU should have more then enough juice to run ur system.

Be reminded though that ur PSU seems to have a bad reputation of blowing up http://www.amazon.co.uk/Powercool-X-Viper-Modular-Bronze-Active/dp/B009Q1EALY .

I would recommend reputable brands like corsair, seasonic, etc..
