I have just built a new machine, and i think i skimped on the Case (PSU specifically). The machine consists of:

MB MSI|VIA K8T800 PRO K8T NEO2-F
CPU AMD 64 3500+ ATHLON 64 939P RT
DDRAM 2x512MB PC-3200
DVD+/-RW SONY
HD 36GB|WD 10K RPM WD360GD
CASE RAIDMAX ATX-228BP Beige 350W
VGA ATIOEM|RADEON 9800 256M 8X

The system was not stable with the R9800 card installed; it seemed to go into "hibernation" while working and no amount of keyboard tapping or mouse wiggling "would wake it up".

Further inspection of the PSU revealed the following specs:
ATX 12V Raidmax
+3.3V / 26.0A
+5V / 29.0A
+12V / 11.0A
-5V / 0.5A
-12V / 0.8A
+5Vsb / 20A
380W

I have rectified the situation by installing an old GeForce 2 GTS video card. The situation is fine as is, the R9800 can go into someone elses box, but, is the current system in danger due to the low 12v amps and the amount of draw?

If so, does Rosewill make a good PSU .. such as this one?

Thanks for your time.

Specs on power supplies are notoriously inaccurate. If you think you're having a problem with the power supply, chances are, you are.

One usually doesn't get a good PSU with Raidmax cases. Usually they are L&C (does your PSU model no. begin with LCA or LCB?) - a bottom feeder.
