Hello guys, I'm going to buy my self a new pc in the upcoming month and need some help. I mostly play PUBG and csgo.

I have no idea of what to buy, from what I have heard i should stay away from AMD.

Im thinking somewhere around 1000-1500 bucks for it.
If anyone have some time over and knows what to go for i would appreciate all the feedback I could get.

Before Ryzen I would have agreed but now Ryzen is pretty comparable with most Intel platforms. It's not perfect but it's a step in the right direction. Here is what I would suggest:

Thank you! You think the 1080 is overkill? would it be a misstake to go with a 1060 (6gb) to save a few bucks or?

Thats kind of my plan, also I usually use 1600x900. Been doing it forever. might go for 1070 just to be safe for upcoming games. :)

1070 is a good gateway between the 1060 6GB and 1080 - and it will leave you some head room should you decide to purchase a new monitor at some point.
