I've just got an Gigabyte r9 380. When install it to the PCIE x16 slot the back plate of the card does interfere with the RAM slots, so i angle it up a little but it still fits in the slot, then i plug in the 8 pin power connector to it. But when i plug in my DVI-I and start my pc, everything turns on and is normal and the windforce blue light is lit on the graphics card and the fans spin. But my monitor does not receive a signal from the graphics card. I have taken out and put in the graphics card numerous times to end up with the same result. When i take out the graphics card and use the motherboard dvi slot, using the integrated graphics, it boots up normally to the desktop.
Please help me out and I will provide additional details if needed.

Specs:
a10-5700 3.4ghz APU
8gb ddr3 ram
msi MS-7778 (jasmine)
550watt evga psu

Solution

If none of my solutions worked for you, then either your GPU is broken and you need to RMA it, or the fact that you say you're having to angle the GPU up a bit to clear the RAM means that possibly not all the lanes of the PCIe bus are making contact, in which case you need to move your RAM to different slots or get RAM that doesn't have tall heat-spreaders etc.
1. Make sure the 8-pin power connector is properly pushed all the way home (especially if it's a 2+6 pin connector - you really have to lock the two together properly BEFORE inserting them as a single connector into the socket or it won't work).
2. If 1. fails, change the order of graphics in BIOS (obviously using onboard so you can see what you're doing) to whatever it isn't set to now. e.g. set onboard to PCIe or vice versa.
3. Make sure the monitor cable is properly hooked up. Might be worth trying a different cable on the GPU (e.g. hdmi, displayport, or DVI).
