I decided to upgrade my graphics and bought the ASUS Radeon R9 270X 4GB DirectCU II TOP (R9270X-DC2T-4GD5).
Now my PC won't boot. Screen is black and I can't reach BIOS.
The PC worked fine earlier.

The new card have 2 powerjacks that i have connected so they lit up.
Have tried unplugging all unnecessary hardware.

Motherboard: ASROCK H67M-GE
PSU: Aerocool templarius imperator 750

Does this mean I've bought a broken card or are there compability-issues I don't know?

Update:
Store confirmed that card ain't broken.

Without the card (unplugged or without power) it boots and runs fine, screen via motherboard-port.
With card, I still cant boot. Black screen and instant shutdown.

I have installed the new drivers (from cd, and Internet) and deleted the old.
Still I get the message: "please install vga cards of asus" and "Fail to load dlls. Please install VGA driver".

Solution
Solved it:
Mailed ASUS and ASROCK support.

They gave files & instructions for a BIOS update.
That alone was not enough but that made it possible to change a new Screen-setting in BIOS.
Then I could boot with Graphic-card connected. DLLs still misssing..
When I change screen-resolution everything seemed to work.

can you test with a proper power supply?

aerocool make "750" power supplies that can't pull 250w

more like impersonator 750

Feedback:
My PC worked with an older graphic-card.
The motherboard is from 2010 (manual)
I don't have spare parts for testing.

New info:
When the graphic-card is unplugged, I can boot and get a screen through the motherboard-port.
If the card is connected, without power, it works as if it's not connected.
