[SOLVED] New Radeon RX 5600 XT no output?

Hey there! Just picked up a Radeon RX 5600 XT to upgrade from my Nvidia 1050ti. When I place in the new GPU and plug in the HDMI, I get no video at all. I switched to the onboard graphics to boot with the RX 5600 XT in and tried to install the driver but it says no AMD graphics hardware is plugged in. I have uninstalled all Nvidia drivers except for physX. When I plug in the 1050ti the video works so it shouldn't be a cable issue.

Intel i7 8700k overclocked 5gh
Aorus z370 gaming mobo
16 gb Ram
Seasonic 520 W PSU

That 520 watts PSU is probably a cheap low quality PSU that is probably a fake 520 watts.

What is the brand and model of that PSU?

6+2 pin yes, however there are 2 8pin slots on this GPU. Do I need both plugged in?

Card should still be functional before Windows/drivers, so it's nothing to do with drivers. Test card elsewhere, possibly need to rma it.

If you connected the GPU connectors correctly (Look to make sure they are plugged ok) and the monitor is working correctly and everything else is plugged correctly and you still have no signal try the GPU in another system or another GPU in your system.

Try the card in the other PCIe Slot.

1050ti is a 75 watts TDP card so I guess no cables and only the 75 watts of the PCIe slot ;p

5600XT is 150 watts TDP.

PC shop or a friend if possible. Rma means return for an exchange.

Everything is seated properly. I tried other pcie slot already but I will try again.

Made sure everything is seated properly and It was.

Is there a reason why you only have 1 of the 2 GPU power connector connected? It's not working because of that. You need the two connected. 1 won't work.

Sorry I missed that. You absolutely need to plug both connectors. If you didn't try with both it will work straight away the moment you plug the other one

Please don't plug the other one while the system is running. Shutdown and plug and start the system again.

Missed it too. I assumed it only had 1x 8pin looking at specs on Techpowerup earlier regarding board design.

Hmm if a TV is your only display and was used with 1050Ti, it should also work with your new card. Try turn on TV moments after PC or vice versa.
