New RAID 0 not appearing in Disk Management

Need some help. Here's what I've got...

The two original hard drives (D: drive) for RAID 0 began failing. After backing up everything on D:, I replaced both HDDs with two 500GB SSDs. I recreated RAID 0 in the RAID setup screen of BIOS, and it shows at boot-up. However, once Windows 7 Professional has loaded, and I go into Disk Management, nothing new appears there. I've gone through the delete RAID and setup several times with the same results.

After looking in a manual to make sure that I set up the RAID correctly, I'm pretty much at the end of my tether with this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the TH community, JT!

I'd suggest you to try the "Rescan for Disks" option in Disk Management. The utility sometimes has trouble detecting the HDDs right away. Are you able to access and see the RAID 0 array from Windows Explorer or Device Manager? Are you booting from the RAID array or you have another primary drive dedicated for that? It would also help if you share more details about your system configuration.
Make sure you have updated your motherboard's drivers from the manufacturer's website rather than Windows Updates.

Keep me posted. :)

Thanks for the reply. 🙂 I rescanned for disks, and it still doesn't show up. More system info... I also have a RAID 1 (E: drive) configuration that works as it should. Both RAIDs appear in BIOS RAID utility. MOBO is a Gigabyte GA-870A-UD3 and is up to date. Windows 7 Pro is up to date and exists on its own dedicated SSD.
