Question New Ram Beeps Sound

I installed a new 8 gb ram module over 4x1 gb on my mother board, when I boot I hear 5 short beeps, when I switch back to old ram it is all ok, i didn't know what to do, I tried to reset bios, but don't work
PC SPECS:
hp compaq 8000 elite sff mother board
8gb zeppelin 1333MHz

5 beeps is a "Pre-video memory error. "

1. Reseat DIMMs.
2. Replace DIMMs one at a time to isolate the faulty module.
3. Replace third-party memory with HP memory.
4. Replace the system board.

Some OEM systems can be very picky when it comes to memory compatibility. Not 100% sure on HP, but I've seen Lenovo's only accept specific Lenovo (re)branded memory.

The SFF supports a max 16GB, with 2 DIMM slots available - so at a very high level yes, 8GB DIMMs are supported.

Likely just a compatibility issue then. Try clearing the CMOS (either removing the round silver battery, or potential a jumper on the motherboard) and waiting 10 mins, then reinserting (RAM and CMOS battery) and see if anything changes.

With OEM boards though, sometimes there's compatibility problems you can't work around (shy of buying very specific memory).
