New RAM causes PC to not show image.

Specs:
i3-8100
H310MHD PRO
(both are) 8gb 2400 mhz
I recently got a new stick of 8gb ddr4 ram to put into my system,the pc would start but not image would be shown.When i put it into my system with the existing ram and tried booting the system up, it wouldnt work.I tried booting with the old ram only and the new one.It seems that the new stick has problems.Should i just claim my warranty or is there a fix

Memory is guaranteed in the form sold. Your warranty applies to memory in the form sold. Memory modules sold as Singles have no guarantee to work in any configuration other than as a Single module. Putting extra memory in a system has no guarantee to be compatible with existing memory.

Since you don't list any memory part numbers, I can't tell exactly what hardware you are trying to use.
