Question New ram for new pc

Specs are
I5 9600k
Gigabyte Z390 Gaming X
750w psu
1080ti

I'm looking for 16gb, probably 3200 but what would be the best for this setup?

Saving some money: SInce this is an intel build. You can go with any 2666MHz ram . It wont hurt FPS at all. Go with any one (corsair,patriot,gskill any which you find cheap).
If you are going to upgrade to ryzen anytime in future then patriot or gskill flare series. they can easily oc to 3200 even if rated at 3000MHz. Look fo samsung B dies as they can oc with lower CAS latency. which will help reduce latency

Why only 2666 if its intel, is there no benefit from something higher?

Well so far one person says 2666 is all I would need, and the next says anything goes. Guess I'll just pick something and hope for the best.
