New ram in PC just makes PC beep.

Hello, I have this motherboard.

I ordered 2 sticks of 8G DDR3 1600MHZ PC3-12800R ram.

My system is 64bit.


When I put the new 16G of ram into my computer it just beeps over and over.
I tried 1 stick of 8G and the same problem.

Can anyone give me some feedback on what I should do?

I really hope I didn't get the wrong ram or it's not compatible because I live in Canada and got it mailed to me from a friend in the states so it'll be a major pain to have to send it back.

Is it ram worth holding onto and getting a new motherboard compatible with them... Since I do want to start upgrading my computer...

Or should I look into sending them back?

Because the mother board that would be compatible would be for a server that you do not want
