[SOLVED] New RAM Install - Not Properly Recognized

I purchased a 32 GB kit (2x 16GB sticks) of RipJawsV DDR4-3600 of RAM for my ASUS Prime Z370-A motherboard.
It's not being properly recognized. Speccy is reporting my memory as 32.0GB Dual-Channel Unkonw @ 1069Mhz (15-15-15-36).
I was certain when I checked the support site for supported memory that 3600MHz was acceptable.

What could the issue be?

Windows 10 64bit

Yes, but no 2 x 16 Gb kit on the QVL for 3600 Mhz.
Although the GSkil configurator gives several 2 x 16 Gb kit as compatible.
What is the exact reference of your RAM ? For high speed sticks this can matter

Have you done a clear CMOS after taking the old RAM out, before putting the new one ?
If not, I would start by doing a clear CMOS

No CMOS reset. I've never do e that before, is it just a matter of taking out the battery?

I suspect though that would be too easy and the pessimist in me says I'm out $300. Lol.

Just take out the battery. Wait 10 min . Put battery back. Boot

Is it necessary to short out the CLRTC jumpers? I don't have one of those little jumpers. Looks like I have to really dig to find the battery lol.

Speccy still only shows a DRAM frequency of 1070MHz! Am I interpreting this information wrong?

You have to re-enable XMP in the Bios (could be called DOCP on an Asus Board)

That is perfectly correct. As you know, you have DDR-4, which stands for Dual Data Rate (1500 x2 = 3000).
Programs as Speccy and CPU-Z give you the real frequency (which in you case is 1500 Mhz), not the publicity BS with units magically transform from MT/SEC (mega-transfers (MT) per second) in MHz.
If you look in Windows Task manager (the Performance Tab), and click on Memory, you will certainly see 3000.
Now, your RAM works at it's supported frequency
