Question New ram installation errors

I just got my new ram in and I'm having a problem getting my PC to post, when I install the new ram, both modules or individually, I get the CPU error light on my motherboard, but when I switch back to the old ram, there is no error light. Would anyone know why this is?
New ram is Patriot Viper Steel DDR4-3600 MHZ, 2x16GB
CPU is Ryzen 7 3700x
Mobo is MSI B450 Tomahawk Max
600 Watt psu
From what I have read the Viper Steel series is supposed to be compatible with AMD. I don't believe that this should be drawing too much power or voltage, but could that be the case?

Do you know if Patriot have tested the CPU with the motherboard/ram?

Yes, I do have the latest bios, and from what I’ve seen the Patriot should work with my cpu and mobo
