New RAM isn't running at full speed

i just got 16gb of g.skill ripjaws 1866mhz ram, but it's only running at 1371mhz. why is that? i looked in bios but couldn't find an option to change it.

i have an asus z97 motherboard

no, my cpu is an i5-4460 so i can't overclock it

Hmm it's such an odd number to be running. Is BCLK at 100?

i fixed it, i had to enable XMP in the bios
