Question New RAM messes up audio.

My friend recently installed some new ram, upgrading it from 8gb to 16gb; however, after booting up, he noticed his audio became quiet and distorted. Is this a compatibility problem, or is it something else?

Motherboard: ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4

Check his audio connectors. I do not believe these issues correlate.
