Question New RAM not detected on laptop

Please help i wanted to install this ram I bought for my Laptop which is:
ASUS Transformer Book Flip TP300LA

The ram name is “Samsung 2gb 1rx8 PC3-12800s 1600Mhz DDR3 Sodimm laptop ram” please help it doesnt detect it.

It is probably not compatible. Not all DDR3 laptop ram is the same. Buying ram is like a Crap-shoot, you have to make sure it is compatible first.

So heres the thing, It was detected but it got redirected to my video memory not to my RAM memory, and now my Intel HD has 2gb Vram.. how do I fix this and not make it redirect to my vram because i ran directx information or whatever and it detected as if it was a VRAM

it shared memory, it just mean it will use it if it need it.
on the left side, use the drop down to go to the 2nd slot

Crucial says it has 1 slot with a 4GB module solder in. Max to add is 1-8GB stick for total of 12GB. Your bios setting may have a setting for how much Vram it uses. No Discord
