new RAM problem

I have purchased new 4GB DDR3 ram...
But whenever i put dat ram . I got error
Windows has stp loading to prevent damage
Disable the bios memory options such as caching or shadowing. I hv intel DH55TC motherboard.Cn u plz help me how resolve the problem?
