[SOLVED] NEW RAM PURCHASE

I already have 4+4 gb ram 1600Mhz on my computer i have 4 ram slots should i buy 8 gb ram or another 4+4 ram.
Are there issues if i install a single 8gb ram and leave the 4 slot for further upgrading.

ram is one of those things that mixed and matched pairs or singles have a good chance of working but it is 50/50 if the system accepts them even if they are same make same brand but better chance.
