New ramm broken?

I bought today hyperx savage 2x4gb ramm
when i installed them pc keeps resetting
i tried only 1 stick then its working.

Make sure you are installing the modules in the correct slots for dual channel. Check your motherboards manual to check which slots the ram should be installed for dual channel operation. Usually the ram should be installed ever other slot.

Yes they are in correct slots. I used dual channel with my old ramm too.

What mobo and CPU? Also what is the model # of the Savage sticks. If it's an older mobo the sticks may not be compatible

@tradesman1 im using i5-2500k i cant remember mobo name it is msi mobo.
sticks are Hyperx savage 1600MHz.
I tried both sticks, 1 keeps restaring my pc constantly, Other one is working normally

May be a bad stick, can try cleaning the contacts (I use rubbing alcohol), otherwise sounds like a bad stick
