New rebuild problems

Hi guys, well i have just rebuilt my pc and have installed a new Asus M5A97 EVO R2.0...with a FX63000 CPU and a gtx 960 graphics card and a cx750w corsair power supply.

Why is my 6 cores reaching between 60-80c when i havent even started playing my games yet...dunno whats gone wrong or why that heat is so high or is that normal?

pc is slow although i am still installing windows 7 updates.

Checked fittings and heatsink etc 3x over....
any suggestions lads?

probably thermal paste, the overclock/cpu guys can tell you more about this than me.

How did you clean and reapply the thermal paste?

it was a brand new reatail cpu with paste on the heatsink m8

Ok, I thought you had reused the cooler. Should be fine then. I would suggest reseating the cooler just encase it didn't seat right
