New Residential Construction Ethernet Wiring

Hey networking pros,

Quick question(s) about Ethernet wiring in a new construction:

I've specified for the electrician to run Cat6A UTP cable to various rooms of our new house that is being built. Just got a chance to look in on his work today, and saw that he had run the Ethernet contiguous with electrical wiring for about 20-30 feet (see attached pics in link; Cat6 is round yellow, electrical is flat yellow and orange).

2 questions:

1) Will this likely cause EMF interference, as the Cat6 is unshielded?
2) Is this to electrical code for Ohio? Have seen some people warning that it might be a code violation for fire. Would appreciate any direct links to citations of Ohio Code.

Thanks for any and all input!

Ah, OK.
I saw red, you said orange.

The twisted is what prevents interference.
I *think*, but do not know 100%, that it would be OK.

Looking around, I see two opinions:

No issue

Possible issue

Looks OK to me. The elec and ethernet are crossing, not parallel.

Code violation? Code is whatever the inspector says is OK.
Drilling holes through the top plates might be an issue. Again...whatever the inspector says.

In all new construction, I might have specific he run conduit instead of bare stapled wire. 10 years from now, when you want to run fiber through the house...pain will result.

And be absolutely sure all that wiring is tested and clearly labeled.

Up in the header space, both the Ethernet and power are run in parallel for about 20-30 feet (you can see the yellow Ethernet cables and the orange power lines in the pics). Problem?
