Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am after many years upgrading my PC. I am a little out of touch with the latest developments in PC's, but I have put together a list of the equipment for my next PC. I am after advice on if this can be improved (or bits that won't work together(. I like to use good quality components, and will need a new monitor. The total budget for the build is around £2,500 (including monitor).

There will be some gaming, but it is a multi-purpose PC.

My current thoughts are:

Asus Z170-Deluxe Intel Z170 (Socket 1151) DDR4 ATX Motherboard
Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz (Skylake) Socket LGA1151 Processor
Corsair Hydro H110i GT 280mm Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler
Avexir Blitz 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-28800C18 3600MHz Dual Channel Memory Kit
Samsung SM951 256GB M.2 PCI-e 3.0 x 4 NVMe Solid State Drive
Samsung 500GB 850 EVO SSD 2.5" SATA 6Gbps 32 Layer 3D V-NAND Solid State Drive
GeForce GTX 980Ti 6144MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Creative Sound Blaster Z High Performance Gaming Sound Card
Samsung SE-506CB/RSBD External BluRay-RW / DVD-RW Drive - Black
Corsair Obsidian 750D Full Tower Case - Black
Corsair RM Series RM 1000 '80+ Gold' 1000W Power Supply
Corsair Gaming K70 Red LED Backlight Keyboard Cherry MX Blue Switches - Black
Windows 10 Professional

Monitor

Acer Predator 4k2k XB280HK 28" 3840x2160 TN G-Sync Gaming Widescreen LED Monitor

I am going to reuse my current storage drive from my existing computer, so I do not require a large amount of storage as part of the build.

I am not precious about the above build. I just want to ensure that when I build my rig, that it is built with good components, and does the job,

Thanks in advance.
