i just returned from airforce techschool and am excited about the holiday gaming season as well as what 2012 is bringing in. though my older desktop is no longer suitable for todays demanding games so im lookingto build a new rig. first off im wanting a motherboard and case to build a base though i have no idea about what brands chipsets and sockets are and what i need to compete.
some things that i plan on having on the rig are:
intel processor (must be powerful i always seem to skimp on this part and my rigs are soon outdated) a high end i7
ati gpu. ive been told that as far as single cards go (which is what im looking to go) ati is top dog
i want this rig to be reliable and somewhat future proof. it has to be idiot proof and be as cranked as it can be out of the box so to speak. probly a lot to take in but all advice is much apreciated
my price range is very flexible for everything so dont be afraid to shoot suggestions just keep it realalistic. 2000 max id say but id prefer around 1500.
