Hey guys, first of i came here before asking for some advices on which parts to get for my very first gaming rig and you guys were very helpful and so i was able to buy and build my first computer. Now i come again to ask for help on this issue Im dealing with for the past few days. The problem is that im getting this constant auto reboot/shutdown now and then when i play BF4/league or legends or even just browsing the internet. When I go and see the "Event View" this message keeps popping up "Critical: kernel-Power EventID 41" this happened 15 times for the past 24hours... I don't know the source of this problem and its getting really stressful searching for solutions on the web. Here is a recent Dumpfile i managed to get from the recent shutdown.

all seems to be implying graphics problem?

Here are the major things i have done a few days prior to the issue.

1. Update Graphics Card
2. Flash Bios update

Base on the forums/threads/discussion ive read here are the things ive done so far to tackle the issue:

1. Run a seatools DOS for my hdd ...It Passed the test
2. Updated all my drivers.
3. Malwarebytes/antivirus test done.
4. Disable all other sound devices
5. Checking and cleaning my fans.(msi afterburner results says max gpu: 73c / max cpu: 53)
6. Uninstall my gpu driver and reinstall it back.

Here is the specs of my gaming rig. "Take note" This system is only 2 months old

Mobo: MSI Z87-G45 Gaming Motherboard
CPU: Intel Core i7 4770k haswell build
Gpu: EVGA Geforce GTX 770 Superclocked ACX 2gb
Ram: Corsair Vengeance (2x8gb) DDR3
Power S: Corsair CX-750 Modular 80+ Bronze Power Supply
Main: Sandisk Extreme Solid State Drive 120gb
Slave: Western Digital WD Blue 1TB WD10EZEX
Screen: Benq RL2450H 24in LED Widescreen Gaming Monitor

PS: Please any help would be much appreciated, ive been stressing so much already trying to figure out the problem finding a solution. Will forever be grateful and thanks in advance.

I have recently done a "Windows Memory Diagnostic Test" and it says no errors has been found..

Update: after letting my comouter stay all night it didnt shutdown or anything but just now when i woke up i tried to test it and played BF4, right before loading finishes my computer shutdowns and wont turn back on again(turns only the psu fan is working)

I unplugg the psu components and plug them all back in again and everything seems to be working now. Is this probably a psu problem?

btw when you say memtest are you referring to memtest86? sorry im not familiar on these things

But the gpu Load is always at 96~98 even from the start of the stress test

Ok thanks for the info! So is it safe to clear out the PSU as the source of the problem? Im of to memtest86 now

Hey man i just finish doing memtest for 6 passes and there was no errors. I guess its safe to say that its not a memory problem? Btw yesterday when it shutoff it wont turn on for quite some time(only psu turns on) so what i did i open thr case up and unplug and reconnect all the psu connection and then tried to turn it on again and this time it worked like a charm. Is it maybe because some of the connections from the psu arent connected properly thats why its giving me this issue?

Hey mate, i unplug and plug everything back properly and tightly and it was working properly for a week(without shutdowns) but now the issue is back..im all out of ideas

I have same problem, I think it is software related, think it it to do with recent window 7 security update or soundblaster drivers. I am going to do a system role back (restore) and uninstall soundblaster drivers. I'll let you know outcome? have you managed to resolve?? as I see you last post was back in Nov-13
