Hello, I'm new at these forums, i used to visit here a lot, and found Toms hardware most helpful most of time so i decided to post here.
I'm looking forward to building a new rig some time after Christmas here are the specs:
AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition
ASUS Crosshair V Forumula
ATI Radeon HD 6950 2 Gb(HIS IceQ X Turbo)
8 Gigs of 1600MHz RAM
64GB SSD (for OS)
1TB HDD

Here are my questions:
1. I'm not sure what wattage PSU should i buy i was thinking about 850W but I'm not sure.
2. I was considering buying second HD 6950, and i was wondering what PSU should i buy for XFire.
3. Memory. Reading Reviews I found out that today's motherboards can be picky about it's memory perhaps any recommendations.
4. Case and cooling in general. Like what Cases to buy, and how to set up the air flow and maybe good CPU heatsink.

*I know it's kinda early to start planing, but my last build, it was rushed and it was pure accident that everything fit together, and still the Althon x64 x2 ended up bottlenecking the HD 4870*

And one last thing I heard about the new AMD Bulldozer CPU's and as i heard they should come out in the beginning of 1012, is it something to consider?
 
Your build looks good, but you should take a look at the articles on this site regarding CPU Heirarchy charts. The 1100T is a tier 3 processor at this moment. I chose to spend $60 more on CPU and $80 less on MB and went with a core i5 2500k (a tier 1 CPU) and a Gigabyte MB which was reviewed with great comments by this same site, a GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 with 8GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM CMZ8GX3M2A1600 (which is supposed to be completely compatible with Z68 architecture and XMP) and a GTX 570 SuperClocked by EVGA 012-P3-1572-AR. I spent about $10 less than my original configuration and I think I've taken a better deal. These components will arrive by wednesday at the latest.

Keep in mind that any SLI or Crossfire setup will likely require a PSU of at least 750W. I'd recommend http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0046L2KQ6/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER which is what I'm planning to buy for my SLI setup around december or sooner if my 600W CoolerMaster is incapable of handling the load required by this system (this PSU is NVIDIA certified for SLI for its high-end cards).

No idea on the Bulldozer CPUs, perhaps someone else can shed some light. I have the same GPU, a Sapphire Radeon 4870 1GB, but paired with a core 2 quad Q6600.

I absolutely recommend waiting 'till Q1 2012, AMD Bulldozer is expected to be released within the next month, and AMD 7000 series will be released later this year. On the other hand, Nvidia will show it's new 22nm processors this fall, and the GTX6XX series in 2012.

And i forgot one thing, my budget is little over $2500.

I wouldn't mind switching to Intel CPU's but that would mean having swich motherboards too(obviously), and to be honest last Intel CPU i had was Pentium 4, so would somebody please explain Today's Intel standings in the market, and their product lines I would be grateful.
I personally like ASUS Republic of Gaming motherboards mostly because the integrates sound, i listen to a lot of music, and i really appreciate excellent sound quality, in gaming and elsewhere.
If the Bulldozer coming out so soon i guess I will have enough time to take it into my consideration, and compare it to other CPU's, thanks.
And not really, I will use this rig as follows: 60% Gaming, 30% Entertaiment(music, movies, web), 10% college work.
 
Well, entertainment playback doesn't take any power at all, so don't worry about that.
On $2500, you can do basically anything, but you will NEED an Intel 2500K. It's essentially tied for the best gaming performance available, lagging barely behind the 2600K, which is only significantly better in well-threaded media apps like Maya. This one will handle all but the very highest-end graphics hardware (3x580 or 2x590/6990). An 1100T won't be able to handle 2x6950, though you could certainly do better than that on $2500.
There are a few top Intel motherboard around that'll do pretty well on SLI, but you don't really need to go higher than a $185 Z68 Extreme4 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157250).
Your RAM and SSD seem good (what SSD model?) and a good 850W PSU, like a TX850W or a Silverstone, will handle 6950s easily.
With $2500 to kill, you could go dual 580s. That would set you back around $1000, and $1500 is more than plenty for everything else you could want.
Do you have a monitor?
 
Well first things first those $2500 include expense for Windows 7, case and the monitor(yes i have a monitor, but i gets rather old, i want to go 1080p).
And I looked into i7's and i5's, and actually i think that the i7 2600k is worth the extra $100.
And about the Motherboard well the most popular are of ASRock brad and i haven't heard too much of them, are they a good quality brand?

And I'm not sure about SSD so far i liked few Kingston SSD's, Corsair, and Crusial I'm not certain on with one to go with thought.
About Video Cards... two GTX 580 would be REALLY nice, but if i throw 1k only at video cards i doubt that I will make the budget.
And quality 850W PSU will do?
 
You will make the budget. Whether you *want* to make it is another concern: if you're interested in getting 570s or 6950s instead and spending less, that's your choice. I'm just laying out the best you can do on this budget, with rough prices:
-$1000 580s
-$150ish mobo (don't know why I posted the more expensive one, actually)
-$125 PSU (TX850W after rebate)
-$60 HDD (Spinpoint F3)
-$20 ODD (whatever)

That's $1855, leaving $645 for a case and monitor. Plenty of money!
There are a bunch of good 24-inchers around. I have a VW246H, which is pretty inexpensive at $200, but look around a little on the Egg.
The case really depends on your aesthetic preference, but it can't be more than around $200, and will only go that high if you like the looks of a case at that price. This leaves you with $245 for accessories, your pocket or whatever you want.
 
Actually that looks good, but where would i get Windows 7 at $100
And as i said i think that I will go for 2600k, because $150 for accessories is plenty.
But i'm still concerned about few things: cooling, this is SIGNIFICANTLY stronger then the original setup(Thank you, I never even thought about going Intel/Nvidia), will ATX mid tower case( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139005 ) i was looking at this one.
And another think I'm concerned about is the Mobo(ASRock) i never heard of them before, maybe i should find from ASUS or something.
 
Windows 7 is pretty much $100 everywhere. Amazon, Newegg, Microcenter, Tigerdirect.

Going for 2600k is your choice, but as mentioned earlier, non of what you want to do can warrant the need for it. the 2500k is more than enough for you. But then, it's your money.

+1 for the 2500K. I stuck a 2600K in this build, but as others have pointed out...the 2500K would be the way to go for your needs.

Thanks Why_me, i liked that case a lot, I prolly will use that one, and the PSU, wouldn't 1050W be a little of an overkill? I just searched around for PSU and found http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139011&Tpk=hx850 this one gets exceptional reviews, and it's modular, witch i love, and i also found this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139013, with is more powerful, and a little cheaper.
And i would like to go SLI, and i noticed that most MoBo's go PCI x8 and x8 for dual cards, what exactly does that mean, is that what you meant by micro clutter?? what exactly is it, for the Extreme 7 MB I'm not sure about it, I'm looking into it right now, but at least it didn't get too good reviews on NEwegg.
 


That 850w will push two of those 580's but it will leave you zero headroom for o/c, drives, fans, etc... and I doubt the life span of it will be all that long for the fact it will be maxed out and running hot as a fried egg. That 950w you posted though will do the trick. It has enough amps and watts to easily push two of those cards and leave you some headroom/extra juice. That psu I posed is modular, and with the combo it's a more than decent deal.

As far as the reviews on newegg in regards to that board, it just came out a few weeks ago with raw bios...as all new boards do. Asrock just posted new bios on their site for that board two days ago to take care of any bugs that board might have had. To be honest though, I take newegg reviews with a grain of salt seeing how a lot of those peeps on there have the tech IQ of a rock. Professional reviews like the one I linked give you a lot better idea.

x8 & x8 are the PCI-E lanes. A single card runs at x16, and when using dual cards they both run @ x8 & x8. That Asrock board as a NF200 Bridge allowing dual cards to run @ x16 & x16. Micro Stutter is what you get sometimes when running multiple cards ...if you google it on youtube you can see where you get some "stutter action" with peeps running FRAPS ...almost like a lag. That's been reduced though over the years and some peeps never witness it...or if they do, they don't notice it.

It does cut close to the budged, but the $2500 is my approximation of how much 2000Euros would be in USD, i just looked it up and my actual budget turned out to be $2700, YAY!

Did I miss anythin will there be capability problems?
And If anybody has any other options please tell them to me.
And Any Tips on system building, this will be my second build I will do 100% alone.

It is a beast, but please explain why you want the 2600K.
Oh, and get a 24" monitor. The VW246H is similar to the one you've selected, but larger and $20 more. I think you'll appreciate the view.
Most people like Samsung Spinpoint drives, but yours would be fine.
 
Well, to be honest I just want an i7, and it gets about 5fps increase in games, but really who am i kidding, i really just want an i7 😛
Hmm, same resolution, same response time, same #of colors, and bigger, wow, how did i miss that one, thanks:)
I saw, Spinpoints but i chose WD because they are faster.
Btw what is cache on a HDD because i never noticed it before.
 
I don't think it will get you an fps increase; you'll still be limited by the GPUs. Your money, though.
The cache is a little bit of built-in RAM that the drive uses. I don't think it matters much over 16mb; 32 would be fine.
