new rig, MSI GTX 970 gmaing 4G makes strange noise

hi guys,

it's my first pc build and i build it for gaming purposes. and i want to hear your guys opinions.

specs:

MOBO: Asus Maximus V2 Ranger
CPU: i7-4790K
paste: Arctic Cooling MX-4 High Performance
RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury red HX318C10FR/8
CPU cooler: Phanteks PH-TC14PE_RD Sharkoon
PSU: WPM700 Bronze
GPU: MSI GTX970 Gaming 4G

note: my GPU makes a strange noise. and i'm hesitating to bring it back. check youtube link below.

If you did not cap your fps or turned off vsync, it will do that in menus where you running 1000+fps which is unnecessary.

i did not cap my fps, though i turned off the Vsync. This strange noise is only occurring during the game start. and it differs from game to game. its kinda weird though. and i'm not sure if it's coil whine or not.

If it is only occurring during menus then it is normal as your fps is probably 1000 or more. It is not coil whine. Vsync doesn't always cap the fps at the menus.

so i turned on the Vsync and strangely the sound is gone.
