New rig, PSU advice needed

Hello guys!
I'm building a new PC, AMD based, with a FX 8350 and a R9 280X, as main consumers.
I already got most of the parts, the only things I need being the PSU, SSD and HDD.

Right now there is a sale for the Super Flower Golden King 550W(modular), and I also got a voucher at the same shop. All things being considered it would be a bargain(85$+VAT 24%~110$)

Now my question is. Will it be enough to hold the build?
It would be something like this:
Mobo ---ASRock 990FX Killer
CPU --- FX8350(looking forward to OC it to 4.5Ghz, maybe more..)
CPU Cooler --- Corsair H80i
RAM --- 8GBs(2 Sticks) --- upgrading to 16GBs in the future
GPU --- R9 280X Toxic from Sapphire(2x8pin required)
Storage --- 120GB SSD + 2HDDs(1TB + 600GB)
-2 120mm led fans + 3 140mm fans

I checked on CMs PSU calculator and it gave me 502W reccomended PSU, so i'm pretty sure it will do, eh?

What do you think?

Superflower is a good brand so it should be fine.

just take a 650W psu ...you will be safe

You will be on the edge. If you are not going to overclock, the 550w will be enough. With overclocking GPU and CPU, you will need at least 600w
The R9 280X , especially the Toxic one, is one power hungry card.

So you're telling me, that an 80+Gold 700W Golden Green(modular as well) would be safer?
It is also on sale, and I would pay ~125$ for it.

Yeah but one thing, i'm not sure about. On their site there is no modular 700W PSU, so I'm wondering if it's not either the non-modular one, or the 650W modular....i'm going to have to do more research...

Im not really keen on the benefits of modular cabling. With proper cable management the difference will be clear value per dollar.

The Golden King 450W, 700W and 1300W models were cancelled before they even reached the market.

You have a point...really, you made me think a bit. Now..knowing that my case(Corsair Graphite 230T), has a decent 2cm space reserved for CM behind the motherboard, i can think of some ways to hide them...And because non-modulars are cheaper(obviously) i can get a decent PSU for the same money...hmm...

I checked and I found the non-modular Golden King Pro 600W. Would this be enough?I think it would, eh?

Not if you're going to be overclocking the CPU and GPU.

Well I'm not going to OC like mad....5Ghz....but yeah safety, no?
The only problem is...i can't find any 650W versions.(The thing with this shop is that they have really nice prices, as well as discounts, but the range of products is pretty damn low). I reviewed some options, and i found some alternatives(i guess...), but i also have a question:
I saw that the 550W Golden King, claims to be an "OC"(although i don't believe that you can OC a PSU) version that can go up to 650W 80+ gold if needed. Is this thing true, or it's just a marketing gimmick? I'm pretty confident that the system won't need more than 550W in normal use and gaming, since no game or app will need both CPU and GPU running at 100%. I know from experience that PSUs can deliver more power than advertised, for short periods of time, and i think it might be the case with this one. One of my friends also has an 8350(OCed to 4.7Ghz) paired with a GTX 770(EVGA ACX), and he uses this 550W and the PSU isn't even "sweating".Anyways...R9 280X needs more power and this might actually make a difference..but..i don't know...

The other choices would be:
-NZXT Hale82 v2 80+Bronze 700W(i read a review on jonny guru and he didn't seem impressed )
-Enermax NAXN 650W 80+Bronze(from reviews it seemed awful)
-SuperFlower Golden Green 80+Gold 700W(the one i can't find info about on their site...so i'm not pretty confident about it...)

Please advise.

I found an interesting thing on a review site, the most trusted one, here in my country, about the 550W 80+Platinum SF. They managed to get stable voltages, while drawing 700W+ for the components. I am really confident now, that the 550W will do, and since it is on such low price, i'm going to stick with it.
