[SOLVED] New Rig wont boot or giving any sign of life

Just finished building my new computer, but it wont boot nor the fans are working. The LED´s on the Motherboard are on so it is powered. I almost tried every thing i could find for troubleshooting. Even shorting ther PWR_SW has no effect at all.

CPU: Intel I7 8700K
Motherboard: ASUS Strix B250F Gaming
Ram: G.Skill Trident Z DDR4-3200 2x8GB
PSU: bequiet! PurePower10 600W
CPU Cooling: Corsair Hydro H100x
GPU: MSI Geforce GTX 1050

Nope no sounds, installed is Windows 10 on an Samsung SSD 850 EVO 1TB

The standby led is on but the Post State LEDs are all off

Regarding the the Standby LED - any chance that, during the build, you added some component without unplugging? Reference Section 2.0, Page 1-11.

About all you can do at this time is go back through the build process and double check everything that you did.

Already done twice :/

1. Did you flip the switch on the power supply? I suspect so since you're seeing lights on the motherboard.
2. Try reseating the memory and power supply cables.

Still no effect 🙁

I think that the connection of the PWR_SW on the board is dead. Im going to Test it.

Try using ONE stick of RAM and disconnect the GPU SATA cables then try starting the PC up.

No CPU pins broken/bent, right? Have you tried starting up with the MOBO outside the case to ensure there are no shorts.

Do you have a multimeter and/or know how to use it?

Or have a knowledgeable family member or friend to help test?

All the above seems to be leading towards a defective component.

Key is to identify that component either directly or by elimination.

If the bios is updated enough to recognize the new gen processor?

No disagreements - just trying to keep track of the overall situation.
