Hi, I recently purchased the RoG Swift from Asus. And using Windows 8.1 64 bit with latest display drivers for my GTX 970.
The issue is, I see black borders on the side, its very thin and at first I didnt notice, but it seems it isn't completely full screen. I'm assuming this is not intended? The right side may be positioned a little to far to the inside.
I tried using NVIDIA configuration but I can only change aspect ratio of screen, not fully cutomize it the way I want. I have the feeling it may be windows 8.1 thats causing it perhaps.
Would apreciate if anyone knows a permanent solution. :)

Yes I'm using displayport at 120Hz. When you say monitor configuration do you mean of the RoG Swift on screen display settings? Unfortunately I've only seen OSD position, but no such thing such as a screen position.
I have tried reinstalling display drivers for my gtx 970 but it seems it didn't work. I'm suspecting windows 8.1 64bit may be the issue?
I will later today try my other monitor and see if it may be caused by the Swift itself. I really hope not, I'm loving this screen so far.

Nothing you have described makes me think this is a defect, and I certainly can't see Asus agreeing to replace it.
It may simply be that there is a narrow broder around the visible area of the screen.
I would check the Nvidia Control Panel settings again and the Asus OSD menu.

Yes that seems to be the case. I just didn't notice due to the screen having pretty damn good black uniformity. Its advertised with thin bezels but there are unnecessary thin black borders on the sides. I hope this is not just the way my Swift was manufactured, I'm assuming they are all manufactured like this.

Are you talking about along side all of the bezels?
all the way around the sides and top?

or does it look like a 4:3 ratio on a 16:9 monitor??

i just got my rog swift 3 days ago i got one dead pixel and returning mine

and if you are talking about the thin black border on the screen size of the bezels that is normal

this is what i am talking about in this video the thin black bars around the bezel

Yes exactly! Can't believe I missed that. I saw a user review on amazon saying it extends all the way to the bezel, Bt it obviously doesn't. I would have prefered a thicker bezel but no visible black line. I can't be the only one thats slightly bothered with it? I legitimately thought I had to fix the positioning of the screen lol.
