[SOLVED] New rtx 2060 vs used 1070 used 1080

Hey, I’m looking to upgrade my rig because I just got a 1440p 144hz monitor and my 1050ti isn’t cutting it anymore. Was wondering what would be best. A new 2060 (430 cad), used 1070(330 cad) or a used 1080 (500 cad).

Play mostly league of legends, Fortnite, apex, war zone, gta rdr2 and other story based games.

Is it worth to try and get a used card. Unsure of quality and how safe it would be to get a used card. What would be the best value and best bet.

Also need a new power supply if that matters

The big concern with a used card is if it spent a lot of time mining bitcoins. A 10 series may very well have been used for such a purpose when profitable.

I'd get the RTX 2060. While the 1070 is about as good and cheaper. At least for me the discount has to be more substantial to take the additional risk. I'd say in your price range you should be looking at the RTX 2060, RTX 2060 Super and RTX 2070. Also take a look at the Radeon 5600 XT, 5700 and 5700 XT.
