New RX 460 4g OC. No monitor signal

Well, my monitor works if it relies on the onboard graphics, but not on the gpu.
I tried getting the cmos battery in and out, tried plugging the power chords and holding the cpu and monitor's power button, tried disabling internal graphics on the cmos. Dunno what to do

MOBO: GA 880GM-D2H
CPU: Phenom ii x4 955
GPU: ASUS STRIX 4GB OC
RAM: KINGSTON 4GB (2X2GB) 1333MHZ
PSU: 600W TRUE RATED
MONITOR: LG FLATRON W1642S (VGA) , i use vga to dvi adaptor

My pc boots up, since i can hear the windows bootup sound. However, no display. Please help!

Since you are actually booting, it loos like an adaptor issue. You need a dvi to vga "active" adapter to make it work.

Ok will buy an active converter, i'll also look for other converters like hdmi to vga. Thanks, will follow up the thread later
