New Rx 570 8gb vs used Rx 580 4gb

Hi I’m currently building a new gaming pc and I was looking at graphics cards, I had narrowed it down to either a brand new Rx 570 with 8gb memory or a used Rx 580 with 4gb memory. I’m only going to be playing at 1080p at high to max settings. Which card should I get any input is helpful. The 570 is about $300 (cad) and the 580 is $200 (cad)

Yea it is available but I was looking for something under $300 dollars. That one is a little more than I’d like to spend. Out of the brand new Rx 570 8gb for $280-300 or the used Rx 580 4gb for $200

Given how much cheaper the Rx 580 is and that it is faster. I’d take the 580.

While the 570 has more VRAM. I’m of the opinion that in general. Settings which make use of more than 4GB will run at too low an FPS.

Thx for the info. But my only problem is that the Rx 580 is coming from a used seller so no warranty or proof that it works

How are you buying it? eBay and Amazon have buyer protection.

As far as warranties go. Is a one to two year warranty worth a 50% cost increase? I'd balk if a salesman said any warranty increases the cost of an item by 50%.

Thanks for all the help. I ended up getting the rx 580 4gb and managed to bargain down to $180 (CAD)
