[SOLVED] New RX 590 no signal

I just bought a new RX590 sapphire card and no matter what I do, I can’t get any signal out of it, but the fans do spin. I just really want to be positive if it is faulty before I have to send it back.


Specs:
R7 1700
8gb ram
ASRock b350m mobo
EVGA 500w 80+ psu

What did you have before the 590?

Did you plug both 8 & 6 pin pcie external power cables to the 590?

What monitor/video cable are you using?

Is the video cable plugged into the graphics card, not the mobo video port?

I had a 960 4gb
I had plugged in the 8 pin (6+2)
And I’m using a acer 144hz monitor but only with hdmi, which it still works with my 960
And yes it’s plugged into the gpu not my mobo

Thanks, it's indeed an 8pin card. Was checking to be sure as the Nitro version has an additional 6pin so you've hooked it up right.

I suspect a faulty card but first, can you try it in another machine?
