Hi. I've got a random blue screen on my new ryzen build. And I need Technical Assistance!

my system :

windows 10 pro 15063

Motherboard: gigabyte ab350 gaiming 3
GPU: Galaxy gtx970 gamer exoc 4gb
CPU : AMD Ryzen 1700 @ 3Ghz, no OC (3.8 OC able)
Memory : CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4 3000 CMK16GX4M2B3000C15W
this working on 2133Mhz, 1.2V, Rated on Memory is 1.3 (Motherboard Default) + bough on newegg(is this seller selling some junky one?)

Power: ATX 600W

SSD1: Revuahn x850 256Gb (C) - windows installed
2.5inch / SATA3(6Gb/s) / intel MLC(synced) / SM2246 TRIM / GC
SSD2 : ADATA SX8000NP 512.1GB (H), Not shown on BIOS, NVME PCIExpress 3.0x4. it disables 2 sata port.

-> msinfo.txt , dxdiag.txt for more specific status.

1. MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

2. IRQL not less or equal

3. Page fault on non paged area,

4. ntfs.sys

like these.

and the important thing is, once it is stablized, ( once on 4 boot ) it doesn't makes bluescreen I
turned on the computer for 36Hours with 12 hours of straight gaming (overwatch)

System Information:

I've searched many infos about this problem

http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-3164578/recurring-bsod-caused-ntfs-sys.html
http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3398948/ryzen-giving-bsod.html

like this. and it doen't help... T_T.

What I have tried:
sfc.exe /scannow
dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
MemTest86 full passes with no errors
Checked bad sector on SDD (Which installed windows10)
windows memtest with no errors.
Clean windows install
Windows Disk defrag SSD Optimization on C:\
Install to newest windows.
install driver with driver booster
install am4 chipset driver to 17.10
Eset internet security 10 - no virus found
0 virtual memory on system advanced setting. - > reason why i got no memory dump :-(
Updated Motherboard BIOS to F7
Updated Nvidia Graphics drivers to newest.

verifier.exe /standard /all -> this makes my system to infinite booting.

What else can I do to remedy this?

Thanks.

Solution
5. is a worry for you. The nvme drive should show on the peripherals tab of the bios (just looked in your manual). That is only way windows could have seen it before and not now. See if its still there as then have to wonder why win 10 can't see it now? have you looked in disk management?

ekrn.exe is the core file of Eset antivirus (I normally expect LAN drivers to be cause or reason why AV crash, you might want to remove Eset temporarily while we figure this out) Your LAN drivers appear to be from June 17 so wouldn't expect them to be cause

gdrv.sys (Dated Thu Jul 4 2013) - Gigabyte tools win 8 version (upgrade or remove)
These BSODs are caused by RAM errors
1. MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

2. IRQL not less or equal

3. Page fault on non paged area,

4. ntfs.sys

I have seen many of these when I was overclocking my RAM on Ryzen. To remedy this, increase the voltage of your DDR4 RAM to 1.3V and set your RAM speeds and timings to Auto.

Your RAM may not be capable of 2933 MHz because of 1T timings/SoC. Check the QVL of your board's manufacturer.

Happy gaming! :)

Hi, I ran the dump file through the debugger and got the following information: https://pastebin.com/WeuA2K8i

File: 081017-19140-01.dmp (Thu Aug 10 07:33:30 2017)
BugCheck: [PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (50)] {ffff870b3292e7d0, 0, fffff802523ac856, 2}
Warning: Unable to verify timestamp for: cbfs6.sys
Probably caused by: memory_corruption (Process: firefox.exe)

I can't help you with this. Wait for someone else to reply. Good luck.

cbfs6.sys (Dated Wed Sep 21 2016) - Callback File System. I expect you know what this is - https://www.eldos.com/cbfs/

not many old drivers but one stands out
teamviewervpn.sys (Dated Thu Dec 13 2007) - TeamViewerVPN Network Adapter ... I would suggest updates as no way a 10 year old driver is going to play nice with win 10

plenty of VPN drivers on there.

Hi. really appreciate your help about providing solutions.
Things I should do :
1. reinatall teamviewer without VPN driver(colif)
2. additional Voltage on my ram to 1.3V( Ryzen master seems not adding voltage without overclocking memory frequency so, I'll try it on BIOS.(gardenman)
3. I don't know cbfs6(aka. call back file system. I've read the help messege from the homepage But I can't understand (Lack of computer knowledge + English)
4. use chrome? (kgt1182)

I'll try 1'st solution and If doesn't works, will upload additional dump and try 2'nd
And I'm bit curious about the difference between Intel's CPU and AMD's CPU.
I really don't had troubles with B85M + I5-4690 + Hynix 1366 2gb x2 +8gb Samsung 1366 ram.

Callback File System is a software component (library) for presenting various data as files and directories of a local virtual disk. Regardless of where the actual data are kept: in files, in database records, memory, or elsewhere - they will be treated as if they were parts of a single file system.

https://www.eldos.com/cbfs/spec.php

I don't know if its part of VMWare which is also on your system. Might also tie into express VPN (I cannot find anything for sure). Seems to be part of something called JUngle disk but it might just be used by that program and not related to this (https://support.jungledisk.com/hc/en-us/articles/200812864-Reinstalling-on-Windows-7-8-and-10)

I think cbfs belongs to VMware's.

and below these are my trial to stablize the system.
1. reinstall teamviewer
-> Infinite Loading from windows
2. BIOS reset (to default). doesn't solved any problems.
3. restore to backup point
4. booted normaly, remove teamviewer
5. SX8000 SSD is not detected on windows (it wasn't detected in BIOS, But it was shown on Windows, and It's gone)
6. I've used PC for 3 hours, and rebooted for 4 times without an bluescreen.
I thought it was over, but additional crash while power off. (added on onedrive link.)

now I've changed voltage to 1.3 and stable for 1 hour.

I ran the new dump file through the debugger and got the following information: https://pastebin.com/qhHm14Xy

Solution
Hi. I've rebooted again, and it was not detected again. (not shown on device manager too)
I turned off completely, and boot it up and SSD is detected again.

+ 3 boots, no crash. I'm testing with overwatch and VMware, Firefox , testmem5.

the things I've done are

1. delete eset Internet security
2. delete Gigabyte appcenter , @bios, Smart Overcock
3. mem voltage to 1.3v
4. 3~5 times rebooting

seems stable by far. (except the SSD problem.)

the nvme thing might be a trait of the boards themselves, future bios updates might fix it.

I sometimes have my NVMe drive disappear after changing RAM or CPU settings in the BIOS (AB350M G3 with F2 and F3c BIOS). I have to re-seat the NVMe drive before it shows up again, and then it's fine until I start changing stuff in the BIOS again.

I've read
https://www.reddit.com/r/GAAB350/comments/60kgl9/nvme_and_ram_issues_with_gaming_3_in_windows_plz/
this thread before.
Then I think I should wait till F8 version arrives. (current Newest version is F7 with agesa 1.0.0.6)
Thanks for your effort to solve my problem. I think my system is stable by far. Thanks Colif ,gardenman and kgt1182.
