New ryzen 2600x and gigabyte ax370-gaming k3 wont post

Dear thread,
I recently updated my desktop with a new cpu and motherboard(and ram).
Specs:
Gigabyte ax370-gaming k3
Ryzen 5 2600x
Balistix sport 2xrgb 2666mhz ram
Gtx 1060

So i only changed my motherboard, cpu and ram. All the other parts have worked in the old setup.
When i start the pc everything starts running except it wont post. On my mobo The cpu status light is turned on. I’ve tried a lot of things including removing one ramstick and putting it in a different slot, Double-check powersupply to cpu as well as some other things but it wont post. I think the problem is compatability but im not sure.
I hope this information gives you a little bit clarity to help me.

You need to update your bios for Ryzen 2

so if you know anyone with a 1st get ryzen processor that will let u borrow it to update the bios or you can contact AMD for a dummy cpu to update bios with

Follow the steps given in this link to obtain the 'boot kit', and use the CPU you receive from AMD to update the BIOS on your motherboard. Your board is first gen, and CPU is 2nd gen, so a BIOS update will do the trick. Download the latest BIOS from here:
