Just built this PC a few days ago and lots of things are off like I mentioned clockspeeds for both CPU/GPU are not stable and keep jumping. When gaming CPU temp spikes from around 60-75c from time to time and I can hear the fan spin up with it. I feel like this is strange since I bought an aftermarket cooler too.
My case doesn't have the best airflow but I still feel like the temps should not be spiking like this. In aida64 stress testing all cores temps were at 80c+ in full load. CPU clocks go from 4.4Ghz down to 4.1Ghz and usually hovers around 4.1-4.3 while gaming.
Anyway I have no idea whats causing these issues in the past few months I've tried 4 different CPU's and 2 separate GPU's/PSU's and I've had similar problems with all of them. Started on r5 3600, swapped it for a new one just to see if I got a dud then went to i5 9600k and now r5 3600x. I ran memtest and everything looked fine. Please Help!
