New SanDisk Ultra II SSD running slow?

Hi Everyone,

Just purchased a new SanDisk Ultra II 960GB SSD for my games and doing a benchmark it appears to be running slowly.

It's sharing a SATA cable with my other SanDisk Ultra Plus drive on an Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard, running on Windows 10. Any ideas why it's running this slowly?

PS: This is the benchmark for my Ultra Plus drive which is about 2 years old

What does CrystalDiskInfo say?

Also, are you using the Intel SATA ports or the AS Media ones?

The AS Media ports were the problem, plugged it into an Intel port and now i get this, seems more normal. Thanks!
