Question New Sapphire RX580 with no signal

Hi all,
Just swapped out a GeForce GTX970 for an RX580 and can't get a signal. One fan spins up on power up, connecting DVI shows a power signal to monitor but no display, HDMi connect sends monitor cycling through connection types but still no signal.

I have tried:

• reseating new GPU
• switching back to old GPU (works)
• new power cables from PSU to Card (6+2)
• new cables both HDMi and DVi to monitor
• popping CMOS for reset
• no BIOS updates available i can find

in my opinion the rx580 is dead, send it back to replace it or get your money back

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If switching back to old GPU works then it means your RX580 is Dead , However You can try Installing the drivers for RX580 first and then check if there's Signal .

If your GPU has warranty You are in luck
