So me and my brother built our computer with these parts. It's our first time building a computer by ourselves, it took us about 2 hours and we are pretty young. I play games like Battlefield 4, Civ 5, Fallout NV, ect on ultra settings 1920x1080 144hz and they run really smooth, however sometimes the computer resets itself. These resets are less common on Fallout, more common on Civ and happens every 30 minutes to an hour or so on Battlefield 4. Once it starts booting up again however the fans on the computer go crazy. The cpu is not overclocked at all and the gpu only got its NVIDIA GPU Boost and no overclock. The constant reset is really bothering us, does anyone know what the problem could be and how I could fix it?

Solution
maybe ya, get real temp and it saves the highest temperatures you are getting.if they are over 90 then that could be the problem. but you have to run the same programs you did before. no one can definitely say what it is for sure, you just have to test a few things out so find out what the problem is.

Thank you, I'll try this when I get home. Lets say overheating is a problem, how would I go about fixing this other than buying some fans? Also what is this program that measures the temperature called?
