New server "Kit"

hi,

I am building a new server since my older one wasn't enough so i sold it.

I want to run ESXI with at least 6 vm maybe more. I already have the ram, drives, case, psu etc.

I only need cpu and motherboard.

What you guys would recommand? 1366? 2011? 1155? 1150? 1151?

Budget is 350CAD but less if possible.

I don't care if its used.

Why Intel, you can get just as good performance from AMD at a fraction of the price, unless canada has some strange pricing?

Well i don't care if Intel or AMD as long as it works and do the job

If you have the RAM, this will limit your choice of socket / CPU. Another limiting factor is the case format - ATX, uATX etc.

I have a big case that is not a problem also i can have many types of ram so it will help this is why i only need cpu and motherboard.
