I currently have nuc skull canyon and I'm looking to upgrade performance with a new build. I mainly run applications like quicken, large excel spreadsheets, chief architect software, web surfing with many tabs open (20+), and occasionally video editing. I don't use it for gaming or movies

I want something small I can build myself like a Dan a4 size case but no bigger than the nuc Beast canyon case, low noise, capable of handling 5120x2160 resolution, 8 core preferably Intel and windows 11 compatible.

Looking for suggestions on all components. Willing to spend up to $2,000 including gpu.

I've built my own systems in the past but I'm not an expert.

Thanks

Thanks, hellfire. is it worth getting the 11700k vs 11700 or even the 11900? I'm going with a nzxt h1 case. They seem pretty nice, compact and are only $199 including cooler and power supply.
Is it worth adding 64GB for memory?
I really won't be gaming at all so I'm thinking about just using the onboard uhd 750 with no video card. Is there any need to have a separate GPU if I'm not gaming?

11700k wont make much difference since you are not gaming. You can get it if you get a good deal though. That is a good case.

Even 32gb memory might not get utilized fully for this, forget 64gb.

You will need a decent card for video editing.
