New socket 754 CPU?

Does anyone know if there is a new Socket 754 in the works? I don't want to get a AMD 3700 soon just to find out that a new one is being developed.

AMD64 3000 socket 754 @ 2.1, 2GB pc3200, 6800GT @ 400/1100.

Why are you upgrading? Seems to me that you should be fine and your next logical upgrade would be away from the 754 platform.

The only new chips for s754 will be sempron, or mobile.
I do have to agree with Dhlucke though. 300mhz and a little extra cache hardly seem worth the almost $300 price tag.

thare will be 64bit socket754 with sse3, apart from that, nothing has been announced that i have heard
