new sound card for my motherboard

Hi i need some help here i want to buy this sound card Creative Sound Blaster Z High Performance Gaming Sound Card for my old MSI K9A2 PLATINUM motherboard but am not sure which slot it fits into on the motherboard can someone advise me please thanks

The Z goes in any PCI Express (PCIe) slot. Without reading the manual at length, I'd stick it in your PCIe x1 slot. It would work in any of the 4 x16 slots, but choosing one of those might reduce the number of lanes going to your video card.
